Oh my god. SAQ has really died for good. It was suffering for the last few months, sure, but I never thought it would end so...quietly. And you know what? The entire death of these fantastic forums is the fault of Yuyu and Burrito. I don't wanna sound like a hater, but their constant butchering of every thread literally destroyed these forums. A few replies started and it was sort of irritating sometimes, but it seemed harmless. Then it got even more annoying, more shameless. Then people started leaving. One by one, every senior member who had been on these forums through thick and thin left as constant as dominoes fall. And now SAQ is dead. There were only a few of us who still cared by the time it was all over, but now it seems that no one cares anymore. No one.
Why did it have to come to this?

Curiosity has hit me so I decided to go see what became of this place. Its like Yuyu said though, spam bots are eating it. But lets get to the point.
There are in fact several reasons as to why SAQ has been left in this idle state. For one the comic hasn't received a real update in ages. A majority of people here joined solely because of the comic, naturally if the comic halts, the boards do as well.
Secondly, staffing has gotten quite weak during the time. As a result nothing was there to stop this place from becoming a cesspool. The administrations need to pick up their act and be a little more harsher and not rely just on reports.
Lastly, spam bots often attack forums which often are small in structure. This forum isn't terribly big which made it a likely target to the bots. Having bots going around doesn't make this place any better. In fact this perhaps the worst state I've seen SAQ in.
The good ol' days are gone now though. Its time to move onto something new. Its going to take awhile for Josh to regain his motivation (Who can blame him? Haruhi is awesome) so just find something else to do to pass the time.
For the knowing, no I'm not coming back. I only came back for a squiz and nothing more.
